Default just need clarification/ itr rear seats

I have a 00 coupe that I want matching itr rear seats for. I found that the 2 door itr seats will not fit but the 4 doors will. Is it true that I need the 2 door itr bottoms with the 4 door itr tops, or can I use the full 4 door itr set for the top and bottom?

i think it's the other way around. db8 bottoms and dc2 back, if i'm not mistaken.

the itr seats from a dc2 will NOT fit in a 00 civic coupe, I need the db8 itr's. Will the db8 bottoms fit or do I need the bottoms from a dc2????

and the dc2 is not a coupe its a hatchback, hence the reason why the itr's from a dc2 wont fit in a civic coupe!

like i stated before, i'm fairly sure that you will need the bottoms from the db8 and the backing from the dc2.

have u tried to fit the dc2 seats in? why do u say they won't work. the db8 bottoms will minimize the gap between the backing and the sides (at least in the EG)

the dc2's are too small in every sense of the word, I know I need the db8 backs, but I am not sure if I need the dc2 bottoms or the db8 bottoms,

well db8 bottoms are whut u need becuase they are wider and won't leave gaps.... and the backing is also one piece and wider. u may have to do some hacking of the foam, but yes the DB8 rear is wider larger whutever u want to call it.

your gonna have to get your stock seats re-wrapped or your gonna have to cut up some db8 seats...i have a 2000 coupe as well, i've tried the dc2 itrs and the db8 itrs...mismatching them won't work either, these seats will only fit in eg's or ek hatches, they won't fit right into coupes...search on here a little bit, there have been people who have custom fitted some rears but it's a pain in the *** to do...good luck with the project though

yea just get yours re-wrapped...it'll look alot cleaner and you will save a little. I opted to just remove my rear seats and do a custom back seat to truck setup so i dont have any pics of the rear seats people have put in...your gonna have to search the archives

What i did on my old coupe si, I was able to source the 4 door ITR rear seats. The back portion mounts fine, you just need to modify the brackets on the back of the seat in order to fit the civic. for the bottom portion you can just use one from the 2dr ITR since the 4 door itr bottom is quite wide.

This has been done by me personally, and it works. You already had a thread on this same topic.

It was quite a while ago, don't have pics (direct shots of the seats). Don't even have the car anymore.
