Help. d16 T3 turbo can't start *video*
Just finished installation and cranked it few times so the turbo gets filled with oil, then turn the fuel pump on and tried to start it and it doesn't. It cranks and then it's starts choking but doesn't start.
I took injectors out of IM to see if they spray fuel and only injector number 3 spits little bursts of fuel? Not sure what the firing order is but i thought they should all spray one by one while you cranking it. I also took the spark plug out and it's completely dry. Looks like no fuel gets in the cylinder at all.
I have blue dsm injectors with wired resistors. I also hear whining noise from injectors or IM area when the ignition is on, no idea what that is.
I have the O2 sensor disconnected but my ecu has o2 sensor disabled. I don't think that would cause any trouble though?
I got a little video so you guys have any idea what it does.

make sure your pump is getting power it under the back seat there is 4wire two are ground and the other two are for power to pump and gauge. because your main relay could be bad. If thats not the problem then see that your firing order 1342 you start on
top of dizzy it is the one closest to firewall. I think

My pump is good, engine n/a ran flawless. When i take injectors out of the fuel rail, fuel is dripping down, so it looks like the fuel rail is full. Just when i keep cranking only the second left injector is spitting a bit of fuel, not much. It's not a constant flow. The rest of them do nothing.
Could the bad turbo cause no start? When i keep on cranking there is a bit of smoke coming out on the exhaust side of the turbo.

don't expect to see a lot of fuel pouring out the injectors at start up. they are only at like 1-2% duty. go over everything and make sure everything is plugged into the right ports and everything. that whining noise is prob your AIC valve. mine did the same thing when the key was in the on position. when i unlugged it the noise went away, it doesn't hurt anything just annoying sometimes
and one more thing. try changing out your spark plugs. sometimes when my spark plugs needed to be changed my car wouldn't start period. and also do you have a tune for the DSM injectors??

Ok a little update. I hooked up the noid light to the injector plug and there is no power at injector at all. The resistors i bought on the packaged said 10w10ohm but right on the resistor itself it says 10w10kj and i measured the resistance through that resistor with my ohmmeter and it's not 10 ohm it's 10 000 ohm. How can this be possible??
10w 10 ohm is not the same as 10w 10kj is it? Those resistor suppose to be only 10 ohms as my stock injectors are around 12 ohms and dsm ones are around 2-3 ohms.
What do you guys think about this? Should i take those resistors out and disconnect all the injectors and try cranking it to see if there is power on the plugs?

could have gotten a stock honda resistor box and it would have been much simpler. but yea try to see if you have power before the resistors you installed and then after
Just use a honda resistor box, it will make things much easier.
It also may be that your basemap is incapable of starting the engine, happens all the time.

Isn't wiring a transistor box is much more complicated then just an inline resistor?</TD></TR></TABLE>
absolutely not. Search on my name and you find my writeup. Another guy has a good one too that uses a plug. Mine is soldered directly. I'd find it for you but I gotta drink beer! Priorities!
Also, chipped ECU means nothing. When you turn it over, are the plugs flooded?
I'd wire in a resistor box (old honda one) and have someone that knows what they are doing with the ECU tuning, get it running. Is it running crome, uberdata,???
