Yes, DeVilbiss makes a good gun for the money.

Yeah, I haven't tried out the Finishline products yet, but I do like DeVilbiss. I'm thinking about getting a set of them for base and primer.

I use my SATA Jet RP Digital for clear coat with a 1.3 tip, I love that gun. I used to use a DeVilbiss GTi Millenium for base, it's a really good gun.

hey guys, I am doing the $50 paint job. I am going to spray it though. I just picked up a harbor freight hvlp gravity feed gun for it. Is there really that much of a difference between the HF and Devilbiss? Anyone with firsthand experience? I am thinking the HF will be "good enough" for what I am doing, but if I can pick up a better gun for a few $$$ more, I will get it.

Never used a HF gun, Devilbiss is just known for quality guns, like their GTi line. I would trust Devilbiss over HF. Even though the finishline guns are low end guns from Devilbiss, I'm sure they are built well.

I was looking at getting the $90 Devilbiss FinishLine Auto Painting System Large and Small HVLP Guns.
