Tranny Question
I have a 1996 del sol s and my tranny is starting to whine so i am going to replace the pressure plate, disc and I will also replace the release bearing and pilot bearing because it comes in the kit.
In the process I would also like to replace my rear main seal, input shaft bearing and seal, throwout bearing and axle seals. My problem is i don't have the part number and don't know where to find the part number for the axle seals. So if anyone could help me with that i would really aprreciate it. I would also like to verify that the parts i am ordering are the correct parts, so please help me. Any info would be greatly appreciated and if you think there are other parts i should look into replacing please let me know. Thanks in advance
So please correct me if i am wrong
In this picture i will be ordering the rear main seal which i believe to be #23
P/N# 91214-PLE-003
In this picture i will be ordering the throwout bearing which i believe to be #4
P/N# 22810-PLW-005
Lastly in this picture i will be ordering the input shaft bearing and input shaft seal which i believe to be #9 & 14
P/N# 91216-PL3-005 AND P/N# 91002-PS0-003

if your getting a while or growel noise when the car is moving or not sounds like a main shaft bearings # 11 and get a pic of the one bearing on the top of the main shaft is pretty common just did my wifes a month ago . simple job.
I am actually getting a whining noise while the car is in neutral and the sound automatically disappears when i even slightly touch the clutch.
