accord suddenly stalling
So my friend's 92 Accord (2.2 Liter engine) drives fine and out of no where the car just dies. It happens most often when its wet outside and today he even developed a weird starter problem.
When he was at the gas station he would turn the key and all he would here is a whole bunch of clicks and then nothing (starter wouldn't actually turn over) and then after a few minutes of "rest time" he'll turn the key again and the darned thing would turn over and run.
I think his clicking issue and not turning over is likely a starter but I can't figure out why his car would just die on the highway when its wet out.
Can someone provide some tips?
Thanks

I forgot to mention that in my first post. Yes I have told him to fiddle with the ignition switch and no it does not stall even when we tap it really hard with our fingers.
it could be that your battery is bad.. check also the spark plugs, clutch, fuel pump or ignition problem. better check all your honda accord parts and give us an update of what other things did you notice. good luck
