AC issue - blows cool but not cold
Car is a 1995 Accord Lx coupe. The car blows cool but not cold and struggles to get the car cold on a hot summer day. The car has been this way ever since I bought it from my dad a few years ago.
The fans are working on the condenser. I have recharged the car in the past and the pressures and freon level was good both before and after the recharge. Driving on the HWY doesn't make a difference. I have replaced the temp ****.
Any ideas? Is this just a known struggle of this year accords?

No charge on the AC system? No freon.
Temp **** can go in only 1 way. My 96 Accord hasn't had a chance to get a A/C service and still runs fine.
I would suggest going to an A/C specialist and he'll have a machine to find leaks if you had any.
Does the A/C compressor work too? Belt tension ok? Do you hear the A/C compressor coming on and off? Look at your A/C hoses, anything wrong?

Yes, I used to work at a mechanic shop and put an AC machine on the car. The compressor is kicking on and off. The pressures are good and the car has the correct amount of R134a.
With all this said, I can't seem to find anything wrong. Any ideas? Is this a typical issue with 5th gen accords?

My A/C stopped in about January. I charged it up and the A/C started working again. I carried it to a shop and had them hook it up to guages and charge it up to the specifications. It blows cold eventually, but it doesnt kick ice cold instantly like some other cars do. I use a sunshade to aid keeping the heat out during the day so it is not so bad on me.
I have a 94 Accord.

Or maybe the cable has come off of the heater valve so your heater is stuck 'ON'?
