The buyer isn't liable, no.
In some states they count it as a lean against your car and the DMV won't let you sell it. In others they'll let you sell it but you'll still owe the money.
Just pay the tickets, stop trying to dish ur problem(s) onto some other unlucky bastard.

if they are moving violations, they stay with the lisence of the driver that got the ticket. if they were parking tickets, they stay with the plate registered to the car which his then registered to the previoius owner...so in answer to your question, no the tickets do not transfer..

yea.. it may be different be state.. but usually the ticket offense goes against your liscense driving record.. not the vehicle.
like if you are driving your friends car and get pulled over.. its a penalty against you... not the car..
