Default h22 in 97 dx hatch, innovative mounts, touching shock tower. Solutions?

I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll post pictures up.

I've got innovative mounts, obd1 jdm h22a. Chassis is mint and wreck free/straight.

The entire swap looks good except it is currently making contact with the drivers
side shock tower. The valve cover is just right up against it but still fits.

I'm just wondering what you guys do in this situation typically? I'm wondering if there is a bit of play in the holes on my mounts and I might be able to loosen them and push the motor over and retighten.

Anybody else have this problem?

thats what I was thinking of doing. Banging the shock tower or maybe just cutting the timing cover part of the valve cover.

Personally Id just cut that portion of your valve cover. I value my shock tower over a 100 dollar valve cover

I think thats standard for most EK H22 swaps. Just trim the valve cover

sorry but that doesn't seem normal to me. valve cover shouldn't be hitting the shock tower. check your mounts to make sure their placing the motor straight.

we also cut a straight line across tge valve cover so you can see half the timing belt.. worked fine
