Default FS: 97 M3 Coupe - $9k - NOVA - UPDATED 6/24

UPDATED 6/24

The power steering and the brake light have both been fixed. The CEL is a bad O2 sensor. I will be picking up and installing the new sensor tomorrow. Assuming the new sensor clears the code, the only negative is now the front bumper. I will also be listing the car on autotrader.com and similar sights once the CEL for $10,500. I will leave the car on here for $9000, but if I start getting interest at the $10,500 price, I will have to raise the price on here. So, get it while you still can.

Here is the deal, I a work full time, go to school full time and pay for everything myself. I have hit a rut and need to sell my car quickly. It does have a few issues but I don't really have the time or the money to take care of them, so I am hoping to be able to reach a deal with someone and sell the car as is. If not, I will be slowly fixing the problems, but there is no telling how long that will take.

Its a black 97 Coupe 5-speed with 98k miles. Car is in good shape minus the few issues listed below. Exterior is pretty good, probably a 7 out of 10 including the front bumper, 8.5 out of 10 excluding it. I hit a racoon the other day and the paint crack in a few place. It isnt bad from far away but up close it is noticable. I also broke the driver side fog light bracket. A few minor dings here in there, but otherwise better than would be expected from a 97. It also has 5% tint all around, which could be removed if a deal is reached.

The interior is an 8 out of 10. Car is equipped with the luxury package. Slight wear on the left bolster on the drivers side seat, minor wear under the driver side floormat and a nickel chunk of plastic missing in the driver side rear interior kick panel?. Not sure if that is what its call but it is directly behind the drivers left, shoulder height. Other than that, the interior is in great shape. I also just replaced the front mid speakers with new ones from BSW. Not a big deal but they always blow so its nice to know there are new ones.

Motor has 100k miles and runs great. Only problem I have had with it in the last 25k miles is the thermostat stuck open at which time I replaced it, the thermo housing with a metal one, the water pump and flushed the coolant system. Rear shock mounts have also been replaced as well as brake pads and new front tires. Car is completely stock minus the tint.

Here are the issues that have come up since I completed the work listed above.

1. CEL came back on. Havent gotten a chance to go to the auto parts store and run the code so I dont know what it is. My guess would be it either related to the 02 sensor or a misfire. I pulled both these codes a while back but once I did a little work and cleared them they didnt come back.

4. Like I said above, the front bumper needs to be repainted/replaced, not sure which. Fixing the fog light goes along with the front bumper.

In the scheme of things, I really don't think that these things are that bad, I just don't have the money to fix them.

If the car was in better shape and I could take my time in selling it, I dont think that $10-11K is too bad of a price. Seeing as how its not in the best shape but far from a POS, I am gonna ask for $9000 CASH. If someone put $1000 into the car, it would be in far better shape than it currently is. If I come up with that money somehow, I will fix everything and sell it for more, but I dont see that happening. If you think my price is too high and are serious about buying it, tell me and we might be able to work something out.

Open to pretty much any trades, only condition being that it HAS to be for a cheap car and cash on top. I need the cash.

My email is b17forsale@yahoo.com. I am good about checking my email so feel free to ask any questions or for more pics. Thanks.
