Default Getting a 4 channel amp..need advice!

Okay my setup on 94 gsr sedan:

Alpine 50Wx4 deck w/ 2 sets of preouts powering:
6.5" MB Quart DKD 116 (50-120 watt power range)
6x9 MB Quart DTC 159 (60-140 watt power range
10" Infinity Basslink (200watt self powered sub)

Okay so obviously my quarts aren't even getting their recommended power range from my deck, prolly 17-20 rms right now? My factory tweeters are also hooked up so the deck is powering all 6 speakers! I am going to get a 4 channel amp to power my front and rear mb quarts. I need some recommendations from people with similar setups.

I think I'm looking at a 50-100rms x 4 @ 4ohm amp. My price range is no more than about $250-$300. I would also appreciate some links to some good online stores to compare prices/specs. Thanks.

Sorry they're out of the price range........well worth it though. I personally have 50w running to almost identical speakers (I have seperates in the front) and I wish I'd put a little more into a better (more powerful) amp. My friend has the PPI amp listed below and it sounds a hell of a lot better than what I have.

Precision Power --PCX480 --$369 80w x 4
JL -- 300/4--$349-- 75w x 4

found the prices at cbrstereo.com not that great of a site though. The JL listed above is goin for 2-300 on e-bay, you might luck out. There's lots of other good ones out there, I just happen to like these.

i'm not too audio savy but why would I need splitters? I have two sets and I'm using one for my amp/sub already so couldn't I just use the other set for the amp i'm putting in??

preout 1----- front speakers, right and left
preout 2 ----- rear speakers, right and left

those will both be plugged into the 4-channel, leaving you nothing for the sub unless you split it.
buy two splitters and plug into the right and left front channels, send the two remaining ends to the amp for the sub.

Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp. Model 400.4
50 X 4 at 4ohms and
75X4 at 2 ohms.

I had one with the same speakers as your setup.
It sounded great. Im looking to get rid of it. Used for 2 months.
