Default Help with ECU Codes

i have my civic sedan with a b20b swap..and an LS ECU.

i was driving home last night from a Grad party. and my car sparked and smoked inside the car..i pop the hood and the motor and around it smells find and seems fine.

inside the interior smells like some wire did some short circuiting..smells so bad..took out my dash today but cant seem to find anything..drove around fine with the dash off. when i put everything back together..now its throwing ECU Codes..1st one> beepppppp fast 7 beeps after> guessing its code 17? 2nd is beeppppp beeppppp beeppppp beeppppp fast 3> guessing its code 43?

can someone give me a graph of a list of what the code is??

and no damnit, i didnt use the search for crying out loud.

17 is speed sensor I believe. When you drove around without your dash one, the speed sensor wasn't plugged in, so thus the code 17 from your ecu. The speed sensor is located in the gauge cluster.

43 is fuel supply/fuel pump.

Did you check the fuses in the underdash fusebox? Make sure that there aren't any blown ones.

Check your battery and alternator too see what condition they are in. In the past, when I had a speed sensor issue, I found that my alternator was dying and wasn't providing enough amps for all the needs of my car. Made my ecu throw the speed sensor code among other things. I replaced the alternator, reset the ecu, and everything was all good. Just something for you to ponder on.
