Hardtop side catcher's Interchangeable?

Hardtop side catcher's Interchangeable?
Quick Question guys.
I have an OEM hardtop with the OEM side latches. I have a source right now that is selling Mugen side catchers for the hardtop for a great price right now. Can I use the OEM side latches w/ the Mugen Catchers?
I did hear that they were the same exact thing, but I just need clarification. Thanks guys!
