Default Need to be clear about this msd stuff

ok i have a jdm h22 which comes with the internal coil. but i am turning it to external using the blaster 2 coil now i took the blue/black and yellow wire and put them on the coil and i'm still not getting any spark. So does anyone know how to wire up the internal to external??? I know there is write ups about but it's not actually "CLEAR".

there is a positive wire and a trigger wire, unless you either cut the wrong wires or have it wired backwards you will have spark. mine was very straightforward. your wires may be different colors. did you check that they were the two wires coming off the old coil? only other thing i can think of is a dud coil. hope that helps.

how is the spark getting from the coil to the distributor cap?

the coil is internal on the h22 and the ex accords. the cap is setup for this. unless you've modified yours it WILL NOT WORK. the you cut the wires (cut completely) and using the supplied ring terminals they will go ont he appropriate sides of the coil. then once connected by a coil wire to the cap (and therefor to the rotor button) you will then have spark.

No cause I thought that the internal dizzy went up so i bought an external one from somebody else. And i just found out that the coil on the internal one just didn't work so all i had to do is order another coil. But since i bought the external coil i bought the blaster to coil so that i can wire it up but i think i got it now what i need to do is splice in between the yellow/blk wire and tap it in. So the green wire is the trigger wire and the yellow/blk wire is the positive.

are you running TWO coils or just an external one? the MSD coil replaces your stock one. i'm really gonna need to see some pictures...
