Was driving with cruise control on and it was acting weird was really accelerating up a hill. I tapped on the brakes to stop the cruise control and while going up the hill the rest of the way i had my foot all the way to the floor and was having trouble getting up, couldnt keep it above 30mph. Once i got to the top i pulled into a parking lot, and saw that me pedal was almost laying on the ground. Luckily the rest of the way home was down hill so i was able to get it home, but was wondering what would cause this. Gas pedal, or loose throttle cable, when i pull the cable it has some slack and had my wife lookc and when i pull the cables slack up the gas pedal goes back to its normal posistion. If that is the problem, can i tighten the cable back up, i have never had a problem like thsi before?
