Trying to put subs and amp in my rsx but it wont work?
I drive a 2004 rsx type s and it has a bose system and Im trying to put my 15 inch sub and my amp in my car and im using my stock 6 disc cd changer. I bought the rca adapter and hooked everything up wires and everything all right but no sound from the sub? Do I have to take out the bose subwoofer and amp out? if so how am i supposed to do it. I cant figure it out! someone help me please with some instructions!
It should have worked if you bought the right rca adapter and rewired it through your rear speaker. Make sure your power wire is in your amp good and make sure you have a good ground. Also, is the light on your amp turning on or is it not turning on at all? Try checking your remote wire too and see if thats the problem.
yea everything is hoooked up right but i hooked up tha rca to the front speakers? and also am i supposed to dissconnect the bose system since im putting a new one in? HELPP!

My advice to you is to do the BOSE bypass with an aftermarket headunit. Do a search for bose bypass if they dont have it here check on google or some other forums. It will net you the best results as far as sound quality and loudness goes.
It will also make it easy to hook up an aftermarket sub and amp because it will be just like any other car. I had the bose rca **** on my car and it was better when i bypassed it.
