Default compustar 2w900fmr DIY question

if anyone can give me a hand, im stuck with an install and if anyone has done this alarm before and can give me some pointers at what my problem might be it would be great!

car => 2000 4dr civic with power doors
alarm => 2w900fmr

im following the instructions on here:
http://www.staub.ca/tech/Manua...l.pdf

This is what I have connected to far:

Connector 1
1) brown => my red siren cable
2) green/white => red and black parking light wire
3) red => my white 12v wire
4) black => grounded to my car frame, siren black wire is grounded as well

connector 2
1) green/white => nothing
2) white => my grey horn wire
3) yellow => nothing
4) yellow/white => nothing
5) voilet => this is connected to some relay that i dont have hooked up yet
6) green => my black and yellow ignition wire
7) voilet => nothing
8) orange => nothing
9) orange/wh => nothing

connector 3
1) grey/bk => my hoodpin
2) voilet/bk => my blue and black trunk wire
3) red/wh => my lightgreen and red passenger side door wire
4)red => nothing
5) bk/wh => nothing
6) gray/wh => nothing

connector 4
1)no wire
2)voliet/wh => nothing
3)orange/bk => my blue and white driver priority pwr unlock from the oem pwrlock
4) blue => my orange and green pwr unlock from the oem pwrlock
5) blue/bk => my orange and white pwr lock from the oem pwrlock
6)no wire

connector5
i just plugged in the light cable

connector6
i just plugged in the shock cable

connector 7
i just plugged in the sensor cable

connector 8
i just plugged in the anenna cable

Now i got to the part where im suppose to program the unit? I know the unit has power cuz i used the multimeter to test the 12v wire and i also tested the other wires after splicing/attaching etc. Also the shock sensor is working cuz it turns red with i tap it.

It says in the manual that im suppose to press buttons I and II together for 2 seconds to start programming, and the siren should beep once to let me know im in programming mode. but it doesnt.

Anyone have any serious suggestions as to what it is i could troubleshoot?

Thanks in advanced.

compustar remotes are not programmed to the brain when they leave the factory. The remotes are put in last because of how there brains are. There brains are all the same and you need to switch antenna and other things to switch between models. Read this on page 9# its will show you how.

http://www.compustar.com/main.htm
dam website. follow this order. click on that link, click on dealer support, click on remote manuals, scroll down to your remote and click on it. programing is on page 9

Is there somthing special im suppose to do to get the driver priority thing working?

I have the wires connected but the book says im suppose to turn it on by pressnig I & II followed by IV to get to option 1-4 and then press II ?

When I press II the alarm goes off... but the driver priority unlock still doesnt work.

you would have to re-wire your door lock system for it to work. I did it on my car and it was not worth it. Its easier on gm and ford cars were you press the remote twice for the rest of the doors to unlock

my car has one of those oem door unlock remote things already and on that remote when i press the unlock once, the drivers unlocks and twice all doors unlock.

so is there a way that i can just tap into a wire or somthing? cuz the compustar has an orange/blk wire that is suppose to do the driver prioirty. I attached it to my oem driver priority wire blue/red from that oem system but it still doesnt work.

do u have a link i can follow if a rewire is a must?

it's a hell of a lot easier to just go with the normal locking style...you have to get relays and diodes into the mix to interrupt signals and what not. just use the 2 lock/unlock wires off the brian ......priority locking stinks
