Refinishing prelude si wheels, any ideas?
I want to refinish my stock prelude si wheels to look almost new from the factory. After 15 years the finish doesnt look to pretty. What do you guys recommend to do to refinish them or at least make them look new? sandblast and refinish? hardcore cleaning? any input is welcome. heres the pics of the wheels after I did a thorough cleaning with just a rag, soap, and water.

Heres a pic of what i'd like them to look like, friends civic.

degreaser will do wonders as well. to get that particular finish u will prolly have to sand them and do a slight polish by upping the grit

polishing, u'll start from a lower level grit and just work ur way up to the shine u desire...but have a fair warning that it'll take 3x as much effort to take off the marks left by the previous grit level

do you have an idea as to what grit it will begin to shine like the civic Si wheel above. Also what "lower level" grit do you reccomend to start at.
