Today I wired up my sidemarkers and I tapped them from my bumper lights so they would just blink and not be running lights. Now my corner blinkers and my running lights don't work. Has this happend to anyone before? Anyone have any input? thanks!

 

that happened because you did it incorrectly. correct your mistake, read up how its properly done. then fix it.

ok well i'll correct my mistake, if someone gives me help like I asked. I searched and didn't find anything. I already know I did something wrong obviously or I wouldn't be here asking. How bout a link or something?

well thanks for the link, I searched side marker wiring and nothing came up, I did probly 20 different searches. but anyways. That is wrong from what I hear, the sidemarkers are not supposed to be on with the running lights, only blinkers. Back to my original question

 

i actually found 478 threads about side marker wiring.


that was the first one i clicked for crxs.

well if theres anyone else that will actually help. The car is a 90 civic si and from what I've read you tap them to your bumper lights because the sidemarkers are not running lights. JDM corners don't have blinker but they do have running lights, now mine don't work.

eh sorry man, I've never had an eclipse and I never will. I come on here and ask a simple question and you act like a know it all dick. You must know something with as many posts as you do, I respect your posts, and I love your car. but your not helping. It's not as if I'm not doing what you tell me, I've read your links and searched, read all the stickies, not getting anywhere.. BTW It's was orangegsxr but it was taken and now I use this everywhere. Good to see something I did getting put to use.

I don't see why the wiring would not be correct because it makes sense the way i did it. JDM corner lights don't have the turn signal bulb but have sidemarkers. *shrug*

Recheck your wiring and try again. Odds are you didn't connect them correctly. What the hell could you possibly expect any of us to tell you? It is probably one of the most simple wiring procedures out there.
