Are you getting fuel?
If yes-
Check the coil. The FSM has the range of resistances allowed on it.
If it's good but no spark, could be distributor, igniter (inside dizzy).
If no-
You have bigger problems.

Look behind the radio, there's a blue connector with two wires going into it. Jump the connector by inserting a wire or paperclip into the connector. Turn the key to ON, but do not start the car. Look at your dash, the CEL light should be flashing.
A long flash = 10
A short flash = 1
Count them up and there's your code. It will pause for like 2 seconds between codes if you have more than one code.
BTW, are you getting spark to the plugs? If not, try a different distributor. I'm willing to bet it's the ignitor inside the distributor. Mine went out on me randomly too.

What year is your car? If it is a 96 then you need to use the dizzy with the internal coil that came with the engine. Also check the ground that is screwed in right below the vtec solonoid. It might be a stretch and it is real easy to miss.
lol it was that ****** g101 ground on the thermostat sikb, i did miss it, and now it starts right up lol i feel like a noob, but yea thanks guys, this is my first swap ever and im glad i got it running
i forgot that too when i done my swap, its almost a guarantee that you will, even if you remember to do it!! Its dumb little things Honda done like that that **** you off but make it worthwhile in the end!
