Help! Distributor/spark Issue! No Spark After Dist. Install!
i have a b18b1 in a hatch, i was throwing a cel for a code 9 bcuz i had a bad distributor but the car was still running fine, so just to make sure it sht dizzy i swap it with a friends b18 and the cel went off car started right up and everything was fine, so a week later i go to the junk yard and get a dizzy swap it on and try to hook my msd up at the same time but it wont start and my g/f said she seen a spark come from somewheres, so i take everything back off and hook up my old dizzy and calll it a break for the day, but now the car wont even start it act like it want to but it wont go.....

I edited your title to make it subject specific as "someone help!" isn't the best way to get distributor/ignition advice.
1. Unless your car is a crazy boosted set-up ditch the MSD. They are not necessary unless you're pusing enough boost to literally blow the spark out.
2. Instead of buying a junkyard distributor try finding a Distributor King/Richporter Technology brand new one so it doesn't cloud your diagnosis and repair.
