i did a search for it and couldn't get a hit on it. maybe searching the wrong keywords but anyways what fluid should i use? i have redline 75w-90 sitting around that i'd like to use. what do you guys think?

 

I'd use Syncromesh, if you're in the mood for replacing the transmission fluid.

 

I use honda mtf.
Looking forward to try Syncromesh at 60,000 mi.

I wouldn't mix and match, if I were you. Use the Honda MTF to flush it, and then use Syncro to replace it.

 

Yeah, you dont want to use heavy gear oil. The manual says use 5-30 if you dont have any tranny fluid, but use Honda MTF.
