well seeing how theres no civc type R sold in the states and the only way to get one is to buy one from someone who has already brought one over i think your going to have one hell of a time trying to find one. oh and i think its pointless to spend a crap load of money on a car thats hard to register hard to find insurance for when you can just buy an ep3 buy a k20A buy a lip kit and some other misc. stuff and never know the differance really(well not
Really but you get my point)

Dude im going to be straight with ya! You probably don't have the money to buy an EP3 Type R. It will probably cost $45,000 to get one over here legitimately. I know i don't have that much laying around, nor do i feel it is necessary to bring the EP3 Type R over here. There is not that much structurally different from the USDM EP3's. So just buy yourself an EP3 and swap the a2 or k20a into it.

Other than that keep on day dreaming, because i am too!

I agree...just buy the USDM EP and swap the motor to k20A or K20A2...and if you still want the JDM bling then just buy the whole JDM bumper with JDM lips along with the rebar, JDM headlights, JDM spoiler and you'll be set for the exterior looks...

You don't need to be destroying an EP3-r as your first car.

Ditto.

If you get an EP for your first car, please keep it mechanically stock and be nice to it.

Don't live up to the stereotype of the reckless teenager that totals their car.
