Default After rebuilding my motor - compression is 275 PSI across all four cylinders

Well, after rebuilding the bottom end, and getting my top end rebuilt by JUN, my motor is finally back in the car. Compression tested at 275 PSI on all four cylinders. I gotta break the new bearings and rings in for 1600 km, and then its dyno time.

how does that compare to, say, a stock ITR motor?

ewww altezzas... nice dynamic compression though.
Why does everyone hate them ? People have accused me of being a ricer because I have altezzas, I will be swapping them back to all red 98+ tail lights.

Nice looking Integra.
Question - What's the purpose of having large/heavy brake rotors when the brake pads contact only about half of the rotor? Notice much of the rotor near the center is bronze color while the outside has been discolored by the brake pad contact.

hmm me confused. me was thinking dynamic was gathered by using a compression gauge in the spark plug hole?

Static compression simply put is calculated compression ratio.
Dynamic compression is compression ratio while the engine is running.

A compression test doesnt really tell you much other than the rings are sealing
well. It cannot really give a good estimate on compression ratio though
CR is one of the factors that affects it.

So in essence both our answers were wrong.

.....this begs the question of what can determine CR on a motor which has been rebuilt and possibly had the head milled or block "cleaned?"

If you look a little further down, you will see that I am running the Wilwood four piston calipers. They have a cover a greater area. The pic you are refering to was with the stock calipers. PS. The AEM rotors are actually lighter than stock due to the hat being made of aluminum, and the two piece design. With the AEM rotors and Wilwood calipers, I think that I shaved about 12lbs at each wheel.
Here is the pic

Nice looking car.

Did you get the wilwood caliper yourself or was it part of a kit? Fastbrakes? or Just the wiwoos kit?
