Default Turbo from Saab Questions.

First off....I know this is not the FI section!

I have posted in there and haven't had the response I am looking for. I feel more people frequent this section and would have a better chance at having my questions answered.

I had the chance to get a turbo for free..I just had to pull it. I took everything I thought would be useful. I have little to no knowledge about turbo's.

The only real markings I can see right off the bat are...DH 1/4 Garrett M4 and M4 AR 48... besides Airesearch. Does this help in identifying?

This is where my questions start...It is either from an 87 or 88 Saab 900. Can anyone tell me what type of turbo it is...what it is worth..what to expect out of it...where to look to better identify it..or if I can even use it...

Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the link Tippy, and thanks P1nk for searching.

Again, I apologize for this being in the wrong area.

I found out on homemadeturbo that it's

"T3 flange, .42/.48 A/R."

Small, I know, but it'll do the job I need it to do when I'm ready.
