I did that in 2nd gear once. I was wondering my car was pulling out so damn slow, but it was too late.

The clutch is probably fine... It COULD be covered under warranty if it was a faulty unit.

Because I was in second gear and when I stopped, I thought I had it in first. I wasn't paying attention at all. So, when I took off, it was stumbling like a bitch until like 10-15mph, ha.

Like TRE said, only if it's defective. It will be obvious when they pull it apart you smoked it and since it's a wear item you'll foot the bill. No need to try and make Honda pay for your mistake.
