as title states. 94 GSR obd1 wiring harness with motorola 2.5 map sensor spliced in before connector. using hondata s300 i went to -->"Map" tab -->"Motorola 2.5" from drop down menu. is there something im missing? no CEL either.

Starts and runs perfect. until i wired up the map sensor....wouldnt even start. when into hondata and changed the map to motorola 2.5 and uploaded it too.

-Where is everyone else pulling there vaccum source for it?

 

Connect to your s300 unit and start datalogging.
Check if you are getting correct readings versus the readings on a vacuum/boost gauge.

This will inform you if your map sensor is wired incorrectly or damaged.

You don't need it to start. Compare the mBar reading of the 2.5 bar to the stock sensor with the ignition on, engine off.
