Default 1998 Honda accord Ex CV Boot

Hi,
The CV boot on the driver side wheel is worn out and is leaking grease, how difficult is it to replace it if i do it myself, i just searched on the web and found a couple of places selling the CV boot kit for $10.95 to $15.00, how much do mechanics charge normally???,

Thanks
Tim

I had the same problem. But when I saw the work if you DIY-it, WAY too messy....

I would just replace the half shaft/intermediate. At least the work is professional and it's going to last.

Yeah, I agree with The-Kid replace the whole shaft. I just bought a lifetime warranty shaft from AutoZone for $49.
