2001 civic ex manual transmission prob
I am new to this forum and searched for transmission problems here but have not found anything.
My car has 102k miles on it and is going to need a new transmission, it is a 5 speed manual. Car is stock besides AEM intake.
I plan on an engine swap down the road so the question, is there anything I can or need to do now to the trans or clutch, etc as far as upgrading if neccessary? Or is the stock tranny fine and to what degree?
Thanks in advance for the advice. It is appreciated.

Welcome '07.. what is wrong with your tranny? there have been some TSBs about the tranny for '01 Civics.
You are just over 100k so you might be able to work with the dealer to get some discounted repair.. if you kiss a little ***.
