my car has been acting weird. the car already has a hard time starting especially in cold weather. but then when i get it started the only way to keep it on is to step on the gas and powerbrake the car (automatic). the car feels like its running on limp mode since it barely has any power and stops revving anywhere from 3500rpms and 4000rpms. we pulled the carpet off and read the codes of the ecu and it gave us the codes 4,8,9,15,41. which on all data shows up as cranksensor and cranksensor circuit trouble. is it safe to assume it is the distributor?? the weird part is that sometimes i can shut the car off for a couple minutes after it stalls and itll go back to normal.

 

nvm. replaced it and it went away so far.
