Default Code Error 9

My ECU is throwing a code 9 which is #1 cylinder position. How do I fix this? I have a b16a if you need to know.

I don't know what to tell you then..Because that sensor is inside the distributor, and what happens 99% of time is, the distributor bearing starts going and heats up all the sensors inside, causing them to fail, causing the code.

Have you tried re-setting the ecu ?

I has this problem but it turned out to be a wiring issue......the helms manual shows you how to check if it is bad or not I remember testing for the ohms of impedence across some of the terminals. It is cheaper to check before you buy a dizzy

the car starts and then it just kills itself....so more than likely its going to be the distributor, right?
