Default Which cam?

I just bought a 91 si and jumped time two teeth yesterday with 295,000 miles on the motor so I am going to rebuild. I have searched everywhere and can find info on different cams for the motor but can't find any info on how the cams actually idol. I have narrowed it down to exospeed, bisimoto, or gude but can't decide on which cam is right for me out of the three companys. I would ideally like somthing that will build good power close to 8k rpms and am not to concerned with the bottom end power. my greater concern though is how they idol. I wouldn't mind a slight lope but nothing to crazy for reasons of police attention, car will be my daily driver. thanks alot for any feedback.

I would do stage 2 ,but make sure you get good valve springs and retainers if you want to rev to 8k,,,also make sure you get mild port work and upgrade the intake and exhaust manifold and maybe think about a slightly higher compression pistons, while you're in there get some new main and rod bearings,seals,etc..

Ive had success with bisi, colt, and delta cams...Never tried those others you've listed

ya I plan to fully build the motor w/ scat rods and some higher compression pistons as well but can not decide on which pistons to get. I was told I would need a floating wrist pin in order to use these after market rods which means I can not just use some p29's or pm7's. so on that note what are some less expensive pistons I could use that would be good for a 50 shot later on down the road.

You should really give us a call: 909-464-1262

As you may know, we build the fastest and most reliable high performance Single Cams on the planet. Our level 2 would work well for you, and we also offer custom grinds. How does a level 1.5 sound?

I have decided to use your stage 2 cam. also will this cam work well with stock compression, because this car was supposed to be more of a project I could take time on and spend plenty of funds to do it properly, but the tranny on my daily driver just went out and it will be cheaper to put this motor together and get it running than fixing my dd problem first.
