That's real, save the time and energy. Switching out all the bulbs when you go JDM cluster is similar to changing the clutch when you get a swap; you just do it while it's out. Happened the same with me.

I've noticed most of the EG6 clusters I have received, some bulbs were burnt out. The solution is to swap over bulbs from your USDM cluster, but remove the blue condom first. Or buy replacement bulbs from your local automotive store.

You don't need the part number.

And chaning JDM bulbs is just the same as changing USDM bulbs or bulbs form any other country.

It's pretty easy. Twist and they pop out.

Yeah, don't even bother taking them out of the socket, just exchange them with the corresponding bulb and socket from your USDM cluster (sans the condom), and you should be fine.

Just take the bulbs/sockets from your old USDM cluster, remove the blue condom, and stick them into the JDM cluster. There are no amber condoms.

The bulb sockets twist out, and then the bulb pulls out of the socket. Are you simple? You have the know-how to install a cluster, but you can't figure out how to change a light bulb?

Wow dude, stfu. Just because you're a simpleton. I'm glad you got up off your *** and searched for something a two-year-old could figure out.

your going to spend 20 bucks to send it back and waste your time?

yea man... changing a bulb is pretty simple. Use the how to on swapping out the cluster, then before you install it, twist oout the little lights and replace them.

I got a joke for everyone!!

"how many akunamatta's does it take to change a light bulb?"

White/Blue are main cluster plugs. Green is cruise control, yellow is SRS, and orange is ABS. Plug in what you've got. If it's not plugged in, it won't light up, so it really doesn't matter.

For the 92-95 Civics, the main cluster plugs are grey, not blue like the 96-00 Civics. The white and yellow plugs are for shift light and SRS plugs respectively.

You don't need to plug them in. Your cluster will work just fine.

I forgot about the "econo-light" .... it's been a long time since I've driven a 5th gen. My stupid truck had that thing.
