bad 1/4 mile time

Default bad 1/4 mile time

i went to the strip this weekend and ran horrible time i have an ef with a b16a1 and could only run 16.2 it bone stock i had a friend with same motor and same car and he ran 15.6 any suggestions

come on now my buddy has a bone stock zc in an ef hatch running 15.1, thats right a dohc D series. so it sounds like theres something wrong here...

learn how to drive. practice. let your freind who ran the 15.6 drive yours and i bet you the time will be WAY better than a 16.2 either that or your motor has serious problems...

What's the mph? That'll determine if there's a issue with the car or your driving.

84mph? It's not you, it's the damn car. 16.20 is on par with a 84mph trap on street tires. With a stock B16 you should be at least in the mid 90's trap wise.

Yeah .. I'd say the B16 is hurt, cause when I first ran my CRX (full weight) on 13" steelies I ran a high 15 or 16 flat but I definitely had a higher trap then that ..
