do you still have the stock intake box and arm? if so you use that and just cut a little off the arm to make it fit

dam, yeah, i almost got my 90 jdm b16a ref too, just because i had an exhaust check to take care of! but paid it and the hell with the ref! but for you my friend, if you still have that lil d series airbox & arm, you can push that onto the b16 stock throttle body! takes a little force but it works fine! [IMG][/IMG] how do you put photos up? i have a pic of mine! i can show but cant figure out how to post it yet

if its getting refed good luck they know the motor swaps now and a jdm b16 will not pass unless you get lucky

the jdm b16a will pass ref, you just have to do it correctly, new intake manifold, skunk2 or a oem del sol, and a header, dc or oem del sol. and a usdm p30 ecu(good luck on that)

No luck necessary. I've got everything I need. Except the intake

Just use a 99-00civic si CAI. That's what I did. Mine always managed to pass visual but never the emissions portion.

i am not quite sure about the year because of the piping in the engine bay. I would try with the aem cai for the crx d16 and im sure if problems accure, it would only be the fitment near the throttle body, but you can always fix that silcone

i was about to get my car reffd as well, all i needed was the ecu and intake manifold! i have jdm 98spec type r headers with no heat sheilds on it, they check the engine bay first, didnt even mention anything about it! the only reason why they turned me away was because my car had no reverse! but silcone with aem intake for the dseries motor should work just fine! if not, just get your self the stock airbox and arm from the junk yard
