Default K im sure its done but Ima ask anyways! Help!

ok i picked up my GSR crank and i tripped on something and i dropped the crank like 3 inches onto the garage floor

it fell vertically

is the crakn done? will a machine shop be able to tell if its still good?

i want to know just incase i need to buy a new crank

Not gonna answer, but i am sure being engineered for 8,000 rpms, being dropped 3 inches is not gonna damage it. But better safe than sorry!

yeah its as if you were to put it down somewhat hard is the impact it had i sorta caught it to soften the blow :/
cana machine shop tell if its still good or not?

How much money do u have to spend? regardless, if you are gonna build your motor, why not get it knifed and rebalanced.

I dont even think a baby would be phased by 3 inches lol... just dont go test that.

Yes they can, like everyone has said; take it to get balanced/polished or even lightened.

I doubt anything was damaged, but I would have a machine shop at least take a look at it. Won't cost you a dime and it as everyone else said, better safe than sorry.

is there any visible damage, dings, scrapes?? just send it to the machine shop, thats really all you can do to make sure.

I believe its 150 for micropolish/balance + shipping. They even have a lil paragraph that tells you exactly how many rpms the balance is good for.
