Default Suede or leather aftermarket steering wheel?

Ok, I have decided to replace me stock wheel in my GSR with this

http://weaksauceparts.com/stor...age=1

but I cant decide whether to get in in leather or suede. My buddy has a suede one and I loved the way it felt when I drove with it. But I have leather interior (the dark gray color) and I know the leather would match well. Also, I read in another thread that you shouldn't get a suede wheel unless you plan on using driving gloves. Is there any truth to that?

Thanks and any pics of leather or suede wheels in any honda would be appreciated.

I would think theres a lot of truth to that.
All the oils and **** in your hands will destroy the suede.

Leather would clean up easier, and not get that dirty, so that's what i would recommend.

You can get a suede cleaner at most shoe stores, but as clean as it can stay, the suede does frey a lot over time, so you get a more raggedy, torn look than when you first bought it. Look at any used suede wheel and you'll know what I mean. Plus, that wheel in the link w/ the leather and red stich looks really nice.

leather is way easier to clean due to the smooth and slick surface. i would get leather

alright i think i will go with the leather, unless someone has a really good reason to get suede.

also, is weaksauce.org a good place to order from. last time i ordered something i didn't ask and it is taking over three weeks to get a turbo manifold from cali. to racespecialists.com and for shipping it to the wrong address after i called twice. Sorry, i had to rant a little

I don't know why people are getting that wheel for newer Integras. It looks like it belongs in older cars like old AE86 Corollas and stuff.

Oh well, yeah leather would be the best choice as mentioned. Suede should be used primarily for race use. If/when it gets wet from like sweaty hands, grip actually increases on suede.
