I'd pick the Champion!
That's really similar to the Sparco wheel I have. I love the feel of the suede! I just love the feel of the whole wheel in general! I get in another car with a stock wheel and I hate it! It just makes driving so much more of a joy. I know you'll be happy with it!

The Millenium Evo would be my choice of those.
Why not the JDM one, though? A nice 3-spoke design that just looks like it should be there.

i'm really liking the race or champion, but suede concerns me... i feel like it won't last as long as leather...
either way i'm pretty sure its been ordered for my bday/xmas!!!

Don't sweat it. My buddy has one of the Momo shifters with the suede on it and it's been used daily for over 2 years and still looks/feels fine.

Good luck finding one of those, becuase they never made a leather GS-R wheel.
I've always like the Millenium. Champion if you don't want to put someone in the hole, but the way I see it, if you're going to get something, you might as well get something you like. If the money concerns you, just give the gift giver the extra cash to get something that you like.
Oh, and don't get the champion with the suede top, you'll eventually wear it down so it's not suede anymore... the intention of the suede wheels is for you to use their suede gloves with them.
