Default ASR subframe install on EK, one question?

I've got my car jacked up and jackstands under it so I can install my A-Spec ASR Subframe bar.. I checked out the directions from Password JDM, and they don't mention anything about switching the shock 180 degrees (so the welded nut is facing rearward) like 2 of the walkthroughs on H-T do. Is there a really important reason to do this or not?

thats only when your installing the crappy ST swaybar where the endlinks bolt to the lower shock bolt, if your installing an ITR bar of none at all don't worry about it

Yes, I have using an ITR bar. But as sicones mentioned, I guess it's essential for the ST bar.

Didnt Eran use the ST bar? And if what everyone is saying is true, than that would explain why he did the 180 on the shocks.

I only did that for the ST bar install. It has nothing to do with the ASR brace.

And I wouldn't call the ST bar crappy by any means. The fitment is great, the handling is improved dramatically. Is there really anything else you need from a sway bar?
