Need help wiring City Lights and Sidemarkers on a EG..
I have the city lights and sidemarkers connected with the corner lens..after i turned on the lights to check them and tried the turn signals the signals do not work, the rear signals are blinking fast only but the corner lights are lit up, they just wont blink. I checked the fuses, changed the bulbs but still happening. did i connect the lights wrong?? i put the + to + and - to -, i didnt bother using the green wire..help!!
well depending on how you want your sidemarkers to function its not difficult..if you want them to be constant and blink with the corners wire up the side markers to the green and red dont wire up with the black....
there are three wires that come out of your harness and connect to your corner light socket. those colors are red (power) black (ground) and green (the relay that makes them blink). so if you're not getting your corners to work you didnt re-connect one of those right...which is FOR SURE THE GREEN ONE. that controls the blinking of your light. re connect .....honda put three wires there for a reason.
now for city lights run red (power) to red on your corner light, and the black (ground) to the black on your corners.
now for sidemarkers you have two choices. if you want your sidemarkers on all the time (gay imo) then you wire one wire to red and one to black, so they will be on whenever your corners are on.
of if you want them wired the RIGHT way you wire one to red and one too green (which again...green alows them to blink).
so just re-connect the green to your corner and you'll have your turn signal in the front back, and as far as it blinking fast, its just because your front turn signal isnt working.

ok i put on the passenger side and its working fine..i just cut up the wire, twisted them together and electrical tapped them. now my question is since i have the corners, city lights and sidemarkers on that harness, should I up my fuse since its pulling more??

i had my city lights wired up to my corner lights and i never blew a fuse.. the little 194 bulbs dont need alot of power compared to a headlight or a radio which i believe use the same size fuses..
i suppose if you were repeatedly blowing fuses running all 3.. then go for the next size up.. but it might just be safer to keep the lower fuse in case it needs to blow for safety purposes.

When wiring up my side markers to stay lit as well as function as a turn signal, I ran the positive lead from the corner marker positive wire to the positive wire of the side marker. I than ran the negative wire or ground wire of the side marker to the positive wire for the turn signal.

I used this but it won't light up and my turn signal won't blink I also have the city light connected to the green wire and the black wire

That diagram doesn't list how to wire up the city lights so you probably didn't wire them properly. Follow the guide for the sidemarkers and confirm that it is working with the option you chose, than move on to the city lights.
