So I saw lots of cameras mounted this year so I expect there is lots of footage.

Here is a small clip from my session with Aquafina on board. I had to laugh when he told me he was closing his eyes while I was going through the esses... I was relieved to hear the Atom missed the wall, and was thrilled to see it pull away from me up the esses.

I had a blast this year and hope to see myself at VIR again some day. What a track. There is still so much for me to learn about it. Definitely the most challenging track I have ever been on.

 

I didn't have the camera rolling for my best session which was #3 on Monday. I have vid. of my session I ran on Tues. but could only get back in the groove the final 3 laps.

I always enjoy your videos..... especially last years.

Depends on your run group. They changed rules on Tuesday I believe. They went over that in the drivers meetings.

When I drove past I thought the Atom was in the tire wall. Yes… that was an “Aw fahq”, but thoughts of the nemesis video did enter my head…

Passing in the advanced group was open as long as you had a point by. My favourite pass was on the 944 going into the Hog Pen in my last session. I got the point by at the end of the roller coaster and completed the pass at the turn in to the Hog Pen. I still managed a good line carrying allot of speed. Definitely gave me a big grin.

That second video hurt to watch... glad everyone was ok! It reminded me why I always gave myself 5-10 feet on the exit on 10. I hope you get the car back in action soon.

x2, sorry about the car Adam, you guys are ok though so... Just gotta find another shell is all I guess.

Just seems like you hit that apex very very hard and it just tossed your car.

 

Actually, I use the outside curbing to kind of "catch" me. The dirt on the other side was the problem, that just didn't agree with the V710s and the way the back end of the car was moving.
