I'm going to go look at a 94' EX tomorrow with 240K on it. I'm wondering what are some things I should look for/ask about a car with this high of miles? I'm just looking for a cheap daily driver while I'm fixing up my other accord, I really only need it to last me about a year or so then I could start puting money into it also. So what are some things that should of already been replaced or should be checked out atleast?

 

Anybody? I drove the car today and it seemed to run real smooth and had good power still. Axles werent clicking at all and brakes werent making any noise. I didnt notice any odd noises or anything. I couldnt find any leaks on the engine either. The a/c was kind of warm and the outer passenger side door handle doesnt open from the outside anymore. What do you guys think could be causing those problems?

He said he recently replaced the fuel pump, distributor, and gave it a tune up. The timing belt was last changed at 180K (240K now) and he doesnt know when the clutch was last done (felt fine though). Is there anything else that I should look at or make sure to ask about with a 94' accord with 240K on it? I'm mostly just wondering if there are any known problems with these cars, especially with this high of mileage, that should of already been replaced or atleast checked?
