Will Type R rims fit on a Civic?
Civics are 4 x 100, The 4 lug Integra Type R rims are 4 x 114.3. How would I get these to fit on a civic? What do I need to make this happen? What's the simplest way to make them fit. Is there a way I can get them on without a conversion? Like a adapter kit. If anyone knows, please let me know . Thanks!
Good idea or not?

yes, do the conversion...
trade one 4 lug setup with tons of wheels available for another 4 lug setup with hardly any rims available
brilliant!

In other words its a waste of money.
For the amount you are going to spend on the conversion you could get something else nicer

the adapters will make your rims stick out, plus theyre going to cost as much if not more than the 4x114 brake setup which is integra sized brakes and also eaily upgraded to 11" itr size

last i remember, you have to get rotors drilled to fit</TD></TR></TABLE>
thats why when its time to change the brakes you just buy 92-96 prelude rotors (itr size) and itr/prelude/nsx calipers

the conversion is like 200 bucks, less than front and rear gsr brakes usualy cost<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BlueR »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yes, do the conversion...

the only reason people do the conversion is for the rims anyways..... either they want to run the 96 spec itr wheels or they get a good deal on some rare rims in 4x114 that arent even readily availible in 4x100
sorry im tired but you get what im sayin right

Just do the 5 lug conversion, and get 98+ Type R rims. Then people will think you have a b18c5 and want to race you, and your car will get stolen too. Besides, we'd all really love to see more stolen R parts end up on a ******.
