i just got a DA shell a project car to learn how to do stuff on it...is there like a sticky or something that u guys know about that 1st of all explains how to built a Ls/ Vtec?...and second is there one that explains how to install a motor into the DA?...cause im thinkin of doin it myself cause i wanna learn how and also i think it will some out cheaper...so yea ??????

i dunno if an engine swap is somthing you should try yourself for the first time. i know i wouldnt try it after investing all the money in the shell and motor. id be too afraid to mess somthing up.

 

go for it. take your time and make sure you have the right tools and the help of someone more experienced. you learn best by doing it yourself! gotta start somewhere and engine swaps if you keep it in the same odb and engine series aren't that hard. i wouldn't take on lsvtec right away though. swap in a GSR or b18a/b

 

I wouldnt try to take on a task as big as an engine swap if you cant even use the search function.

an lsvtec can be really good, but if you dont know what you're doing, it can end up really bad for you.

 

well the shell i got for free....and imma just swap in a gsr engine cause i got hook ups and imma just end up doin that and imma just do it myslef ..cause the car is just gonna be sittin here ..i dont even really need the car i just got it to learn how to work on it ...and imma just use it as a track car ..cause i have my 06 si to drive around
