Default uhh, idle afr suddenly in the 10's...what else to check??

lsvtec running uberdata, precision 780s and an oem integra resistor box.

2 days ago i noticed my idle was down like 5" and low rpms. my plugs are totally black and the wb is now saying 10s. car ran fine on my way into work that day. so far i reburned my chip and its still doing it. im gonna get a new resistor box tomorrow, but if that doesnt work what else should i try?

i had a similar issue, i couldnt figure it out for the life of me, so i went back to the tuner, and see if he could fix it, had him retune the whole car, and only thing he changed was to disable the o2 sensor, and it was perfect after that, o2 prolly going wacko

The only thing you need to check is Evan's calander for the next open appointment.

sounds like your map sensor is getting an atmospheric pressure signal all the time. Check that out and make sure everything is still fine with the wiring and the vac source.

alright. i put in a new resistor box. no luck

also ran a new map sensor vacuum hose. the map sensor wiring looks good. all the solder connections are still solid. im using an sve 3 bar if it matters.

i also noticed that my afr while driving is about a point richer than it usually is. ie when im 15" and 3000 rpms where i used to be about 14.5 im now like 13.7

yeah i have a gauge right on my rail, its normal to what its always been, around 45 psi.

haha no, its not at 5". normally my car pulls 24" dead on at idle, now it searches for idle from around 20-22". it happened on monday i think. i drove it to work fine, then noticed it when i pulled in for gas on the way home about 8 hours later.

the car still drives relatively smoothly, just the afr is busted up, again mainly at idle

wideband sensor is a few months old. when i was on the dyno about a month ago i verified its readings with the new dyno sensor.

i have had a wideband sensor go bad on me, and ive been very untrusting of them since, but i mean my plugs are jet black, from the ground strap to the fire ring..

thanks for the replies guys, im gonna keep troubleshooting, and your advice is helping me rule out and thing about places to check.

ok so i got a new map sensor and changed my spark plugs- everything is fine.

so somehow my sve 3 bar **** out on me. it had maybe 12k miles, but i did just have it mounted under my intake manifold to keep my bay clean. i wonder if it just got to hot undere there for it. now ive got it up on the firewall
