Forged pistons without sleeving
First off I have a '94 Integra LS B18B with 145K miles,
I'm thinking of doing a very very VERY lightweight turbo setup just for KICKS till i get a new car in two years.
I'm not a fan of high horsepower, i've never done more than 100mph
just street application, nothing serious
I research honda's and honda modifications 5 hours a day religiously.... no joke
but i have never come across anyone who wants to build a turbo setup for such low power gains. hehe
some dude has a turbo Tibron, and I asked him
"what do you think if i got lower compression forged pistons and forged rods...
"he said no bro you gotta sleeve cause your engine is not balanced."
"I told him that your nuts, I only want 200hp, if that, there are alot of people who are running 250hp on a stock B18B."
"he told me you have to sleeve if you want your engine to last."
so now im asking the tuning profesionals, do i need to do anything to the engine to make it reliable handling 200hp for two years ?

Use this.
You can make around 300whp safely on a stock sleeves. I wouldn't even think of sleeving a motor for low 200.

slap a Garrett GT28RS running about 10-12psi and call it a day.......super fast spool, great power band, does not make gobs of crazy uncontrollable power........the best street turbo
don't bother with sleeving the engine at that power level........just get a nice set of forged pistons and rods and be done with it. don't listen to your friend with a tibron?? he obviously does not know much about turbo honda's.

Have to sleeve it cause its not balanced holy **** that is funny. i would like to talk to this guy. Acutually NM i would end up kickin him in the nutz.
for your goals get a small turbo so it will spool quick and be a real fun 200WHP car.
there are HONDA's on this forum with 600+ HP on stock sleeves.
you could go to 400 just fine with pistons/rods/tuning.
MAKE NO MODS TO THAT ENGINE TO GET 200. stock block and internals will hold FINE!!
and for your sanity and intelligence stay away from tiburon guy lol
