Question about removing trans.

Question about removing trans.

Is it possible to get the transmission off without taking off the intermediate shaft. would it work if i just removed the passenger side axle.

and yes i did search. couldnt find it.

You could get it off alright but you would still need to remove driver axle and intermediate shaft to get the tranny back on unless you have like 3 guys to help you.

Are you having trouble getting the int. shaft off?

It goes a lot easier if you have them disconnected from the trans.

no im not having any problems. ive taken a tranny off before. im just about to replace my clutch and was wondering if it would save some time. sounds like its just easier if you take it all out.
