Default Help: Odometer stopped reading.

Hey guys my odometer stopped reading.
Is there any way I can fix this?

Or would the only solution be to get a new cluster?

Opinions please. Thanks!

I give it to you step by step.

1. First go to the upper right hand corner of this chat forum and click on the red SEARCH button. From there, search, don't forget to sometimes try archived material as well. 9-10 doctors would reccommend doing this before EVER asking a question.

2. Once done searching you'll then know its either your VSS is dirty or went bad. If it is not either of these two, your cluster is bad, but the problem will for sure be your VSS.

3. clean or replace VSS (junkyards are your friends if you need one)

is the check engine light on??? if not then its not the VSS. if the VSS signal isnt present the ECU will spit a code and the check engine light will come on.
