Default 92 CX With Rear Disc Problem

I got a 92 cx hatch with a gsr rear disc brake conversion. But the brake still feel just as shitty now as they did with my rear drums. Ive heard it might be my porportioning valve. it that right. i have like 90% pad life all around

without going bigger in the front this is common. go bigger in the front and you will see the difference. the front brakes is what takes the majority of the pressure of stopping a car>>> hence why front brakes are bigger than the rear in almost every car.

if u have same problem before the swap check your master, booster, or your prop. valve. going bigger is better.

also make sure the slide pins on the rear brakes are not working right and not seized. As already asked di you change over the front brakes to the larger ex/si size also and the proportioning valve might also help some

going rear disk with the smaller fronts is almost pointless. Upgrade the fronts if you want more stopping power.

the prop valve is in the center of the firewall behind the intake manifold, with 6 lines running from it.

Agreed, when you upgrade to front bigger brakes you might want to get a bigger MC & BB too, you will then notice a big difference.
