voltage stabilizers
Hum, probably would not be a bad idea to hook a cheap one up to your ecu... computers are dependent on stable voltages to do their thing, but the rest of your car's systems wouldn't benefit. For example, knock sensors communicate to the ecu their status by creating a voltage that only ranges a few tenths of a volt... so the margin for error is not large.
Stabilizers are really simple circuits involving not much more than some capacitors and a voltage regulator, so don't pay a lot of money for one... i am sure radio shack has all the supplies you need and google would probably produce some good diagrams for the amateur diy'er.
But in the end its probably only gonna make you feel better... but I can see where the ecu getting clean power would help and probably increase hp.

i had an expensive jacobs acuvolt one. IT also stepps up the voltage. i had it hooked to the ecu the fuel pump and the ignition. In my opinion it helped. when i leaned out on gas and my spark plug ground straps melted off my msd still fired all the plugs without missing.
