F23 turbo - any need for EMS? - 6psi...
I was talking with my tech about installing a turbo on my 6th gen - F23. He said that if I only run about 6psi, I wouldn't need new injectors or an EMS. I would only need a new fuel pump. So is that true - I wouldn't need them?
Depends on what the mechanic meant. He has the right idea of getting a larger fuel pump to increase the fuel pressure (get more fuel in the engine), but that needs to work in conjunction with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Most complete turbo kits come with a RRFPR.

rising rate regulators= fmu (fake management unit
)=
you would need more than a fuel pump, I personaly would suggest proper engine management to anyone boosting a honda. any amount of boost can damage your setup with less than quality management and tuning.
yes it may survive for a little bit with an fmu/ stock injectors/ fuel pump but its hardly worth it soon after you get running you have to rebuild because of damage from detonation, washed out rings, etc.
personally its just my 2 cents but I would say hell no, and spend a little bit of money now on better management. there is alot of options out there and the price is well worth it. I ran an afc hack/ big injectors for a while cause I thought it would be ok at first on low boost and then switched to hondata... OMG, why I even bothered with the afc is beyond me. it is honestly total night and day difference, there is absolutely no comparison between real management and half *** methods.
do it right the first time imo, it will make more power, be more reliable, alot more driveable, and solid foundation for future growth/ upgrades.

I didn't think that was right. I was going to go Greddy E-Manage Ultimate and have it dyno tuned and all. The tech was talking about the FMU and such - using stock injectors but a larger fuel pump.

I'm confused - you want to use stock injectors + emanage? Or are you talking about two different scenarios?
You can run an FMU/pump/missing link up to about 7 psi. I ran that way for ~1 year and didn't have any problems, but be sure you're using a high pressur inLINE fuel pump, not a walbro.
